WANG Yong, Ph.D., was born in December 1964 and a native of Jingchuan County, Gansu Province. He was the assistant director, secretary of the Disciplinary Committee and deputy director (presiding over the work) of the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, CAS, and deputy director of the Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, CAS; he is currently the vice president of the Innovation Academy of Precision Measurement Science and Technological, CAS.
