Overview

APM conducts "comprehensive strategy, demand-oriented innovation, technology-directed innovation, and win-win cooperation". Relying on available international cooperation platforms as well as its disciplinary and technological advantages, APM actively responds to international development strategies and the "Belt and Road" initiative. It has been deepening and expanding substantial cooperation with many developed countries, promoting the construction of overseas scientific and technological cooperation institutions, participating in national strategies such as international "big science" projects, gathering international talents, and establishing a "platform-talent-project-organization" cooperation model to further enhance scientific and technological innovation competence and international influence. So far, APM has established cooperative relationships with research institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Belgium, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Ethiopia and other countries. Besides, APM has signed cooperation agreements with domestic ministries, local governments, universities and research institutions.
