LIU XIAO JUN
LIU Xiaojun, researcher, doctoral supervisor, party committee secretary and Vice President of the Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (APM, CAS) (integrated by the former Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, CAS and the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, CAS). He has long been engaged in the research of atomic, molecular and optical physics. He has achieved systematic innovative research results in the dynamics, ultrafast control, and precision measurement of femtosecond strong laser and atomic and molecular interactions. He has published more than 120 papers in physics journals such as PRL and PRA, including an invited review article on the Reviews of Modern Physics, which is the world’s premier physics review journal of the American Physical Society. He has undertaken major scientific and technological tasks such as the National Natural Science Foundation’s innovative research group project, the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation project, national major scientific research instrument development projects, and national key R&D plan research. He is currently the director of the Atomic and Molecular Physics Committee of the Chinese Physical Society and a member of the Organizing Committee of Autumn Academic Conference of the Chinese Physical Society. He has been awarded the special government allowance of the State Council, and was awarded the Youth Wusi Medal of Hubei Province, Wuhan Youth Science and Technology Award, Wuhan Outstanding Science and Technology Worker and other honorary titles.
