From April 21st to 23rd, the National Molecular Imaging Academic Conference was successfully held in Wuhan. The conference was hosted by the Molecular Imaging Branch of the Chinese Biophysical Society and jointly organized by the Innovation Academy for Precision Measurement Science and Technology (APM) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Magnetic Resonance Technology Alliance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The theme of the conference is ‘Molecular Imaging Joins Hands with Clinical Medicine’, aiming to focus on the key scientific issues that need to be solved in the current research and application of molecular imaging and clinical medical imaging, and to help the application and development of molecular imaging technology in clinical medical imaging.
The conference invited top scholars such as Academician Xu Tao from Guangzhou Laboratory, Academician Tan Weihong from the Institute of Medicine of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Gu Ning from Nanjing University, Academician Ye Chaohui from APM, Academician Liu Maili from APM, and representatives of well-known academic journals in the field. More than 100 people attended. The opening ceremony was chaired by Wang Fan, chairman of the Molecular Imaging Branch of the Chinese Biophysical Society.
Dean Zhou Xin, on behalf of APM, delivered a welcome speech, expressing a warm welcome to experts and scholars attending the meeting, and sincere thanks to the support of the Molecular Imaging Branch and the Magnetic Resonance Technology Alliance of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He hoped that with this conference as a platform, we can showcase the latest scientific research and clinical achievements in this field, discuss further development, and promote the application of molecular imaging in clinical medicine.
The National Molecular Imaging Academic Conference came to a successful conclusion in Wuhan, offering a feast for academics. Through the successful holding of this conference, it can further promote the vigorous development of molecular imaging and its application research in clinical medicine, better meet people’s needs for life and health.
