Abstract

When dealing with various mathematical analysis problems in Geodesy, a large number of complicated mathematical and numerical analysis processes are involved. Manual derivation is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also error-prone. In the past, due to the limitations of objective conditions, many mathematical analysis problems in geodesy were not solved perfectly, and there are many areas that need to be improved urgently. The computer algebraic analysis method can be systematically applied to the numerical analysis of geodetic mathematics, and derive a series of new geodetic algorithms and formulas with more rigorous theories, simpler forms, and more accuracy, which have realized the breakthrough and innovation of geodetic survey in some specific mathematical analysis and revolutionized the geodetic mathematical numerical analysis theory and algorithm to a certain extent. This report mainly introduces the achievements made in recent years by the use of computer algebraic analysis methods in ellipsoid geodesy, physical geodesy, satellite geodesy and other sub-disciplines of geodesy.
