Abstract of the presentation:
Metal zero-length spring gravimeters and quartz spring gravimeters have undergone nearly a hundred years of development and are quite mature. Due to limitations such as structural form and processing methods, the problem of high cost has never been solved. The advent of MEMS gravimeters provides a new technical approach for the development of low-cost, miniaturized gravimeters, not only providing an alternative option for domestically replacing imported portable relative gravimeters, but also potentially giving birth to new gravity measurement methods. The report reports on the domestic and international research status of MEMS relative gravimeters, measurement principles, design schemes, team prototype development progress, etc. It shows the application potential of MEMS gravimeters and discusses its future development planning and application ideas.
